Terms and Conditions for the Photo Editor

Review the terms for using this browser photo editor, including image ownership, responsible use, local sessions, exports, and service limitations.

Using the website

These terms describe use of OnlinePhotoEditingSoftware.com, including its browser photo editor and educational pages. Use the service only when you can lawfully do so and have the necessary rights to the material you open, edit, or distribute. If these terms are not suitable for your intended use, do not use the service for that work.

The application offers core editing without an account or payment. These terms do not create a paid support agreement, storage contract, or guarantee of continuous availability. The service may change as its software, documentation, and hosting configuration are maintained.

Your images remain your responsibility

You retain whatever rights you already hold in your original images and other material. Opening an image in the editor does not give you rights that you did not have before. You are responsible for permissions relating to copyright, trademarks, privacy, publicity, confidential information, and any other rules applicable to your project.

The core application processes selected image pixels locally in your browser. It does not require you to submit a photograph to a server for editing. Local processing does not remove your responsibility for how a picture was obtained, changed, or shared.

Do not use the service to create or distribute unlawful material, impersonate others deceptively, infringe rights, or interfere with other people's systems. Do not attempt to damage the website, bypass security controls, or disrupt availability through abusive automated traffic.

Editing sessions and exports

Keep an original copy before editing. The editor can temporarily stage a photo during navigation and keep a recent draft in local browser storage. Draft recovery depends on the browser profile and device. Download a Photo Studio project to keep a separate editable copy.

Download a finished image before closing or refreshing the tab. Device failures, browser memory limits, private browsing restrictions, clearing storage, and application errors can interrupt a session. You are responsible for checking that a downloaded file opens correctly and has the intended dimensions, format, and appearance.

Image formats have different capabilities. JPEG does not preserve transparency; lossy compression can change visible detail. Export may not preserve every metadata field or source color profile. Review the final file against the requirements of your destination, whether that is a website, a presentation, a print provider, or another editing tool.

Appropriate expectations

The editor provides practical tools for common photo tasks. It does not promise full compatibility with proprietary layered documents, camera RAW development, professional prepress production, forensic integrity, or a particular artistic result. Software features should be understood from the working interface and documentation rather than inferred from references to other products.

The service is offered without a promise that every feature will be available or error-free on every browser or device. To the extent permitted by applicable law, no additional warranty of fitness for a particular purpose is made. These terms do not exclude rights or protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.

For high-value or irreplaceable work, use your own backups and a workflow appropriate to the risks involved. Do not rely on this website as the sole copy of an image or as the sole verification of an image's accuracy.

Website content and external services

The site's original text, design, and software may be protected by intellectual-property rules. Third-party components and products remain subject to their own licenses and terms. Nothing here grants a right to use another company's logo, product branding, or proprietary content beyond any permission you already have.

Educational pages may link to third-party services for further reading. Those services are operated separately and may require accounts, payment, downloads, or different privacy terms. Check their current conditions before using them. A link is not a guarantee of continued availability, accuracy, or suitability.

Privacy, changes, and communication

The privacy policy explains the distinction between local image editing and the network requests needed to load the site. It also describes temporary transfer storage, local drafts, project downloads, and the saved interface theme. Review that policy before using sensitive material.

These terms may be updated to reflect changes to the service or its operation. Review the current version when the way you use the editor changes. No specific governing-law jurisdiction or company identity is invented in this document; the operator should obtain advice appropriate to the actual deployment and business arrangements.

For practical help and the currently available communication options, see the contact page. The disclaimer provides additional context about image-quality limitations and editorial comparisons.
